This bathroom presented the challenge of being both small and outdated, requiring a design that maximized space while maintaining charm. To enhance functionality, we expanded the vanity and incorporated tall storage cabinets that sit directly on the countertops, providing ample storage without overwhelming the space. The layout was carefully planned to ensure every inch was utilized efficiently while maintaining an open and airy feel. For a bold and playful touch, we introduced a vibrant tropical wallpaper on the window wall, injecting personality and energy into the space. A deep green vanity base, painted in Sherwin-Williams Pickle, was selected to pull from the wallpaper’s rich hues, creating a cohesive and visually striking design.
A large plate mirror above the tall quartz backsplash reflects light and makes the room feel more spacious, while sconce lighting mounted on the tall cabinets provides a balanced and flattering glow. Gold accents throughout the space, from the plumbing fixtures to the hardware, bring warmth and sophistication, elevating the overall aesthetic. Cup pulls on the drawers add a touch of cottage-inspired charm, reinforcing the home’s traditional character. These thoughtful details create a seamless blend of old and new, ensuring the bathroom feels both stylish and true to its origins. Inspired by the home’s cottage-style character, we selected fixtures and finishes that complement its original charm. Classic white penny tile flooring and a subway tile shower create a timeless foundation, staying true to the bathroom’s traditional roots.
